You Have Our Assurance About Our Direct Primary Care
DIRECT PRIMARY CARE MODEL & YOUR INSURANCE
How does direct primary care insurance & cost work? Direct primary care does not file insurance, so all costs are out of pocket. Your health insurance may reimburse some of the costs as this practice is an “out-of-network provider.” Contact your benefits representative or health insurance company to see if the annual fee may be paid from your HSA or FSA.
When you visit Dr. Jacobs, all fees and costs are transparent, unlike with typical insurance. So you never have to cringe in anticipation of unpredictable healthcare costs.
DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
Dr. Jacobs does not take insurance. Costs for this practice are broken down into flat monthly fees and additional fees per visit.
SO, DO I STILL NEED INSURANCE?
Yes, you do. This is not an insurance plan or insurance alternative. Insurance is highly recommended for all hospitalizations, specialty referrals, diagnostic testing, lab testing, radiology testing, and other healthcare services.
